Our ExperienceWe have been experimenting with suspension training at BodyMind Balance for some time because we think it compliments Pilates very well. Suspension training uses your bodyweight as resistance and offers tremendous versatility for functional exercise, low to high intensity and application to sports and physical activities of all sorts. In addition, it offers great options for strength and cardio workouts. In exploring the suspension options we determined that TRX provided the best equipment and resources for our clients. Several of us completed the TRX Group Training Program. We had a blast and are bringing TRX to BMB. As Senior Instructor Ray Douglass says "if you want a butt kick'n core strengthn'n body sculpt'n cardio blast'n hour of wicked wild fly'n fun you've got to try TRX at BMB." Basic TrainingHere is where you can learn the exercises, progressions and transitions. Participants all do the same exercise, but at their own pace and level of intensity. As with all TRX group training programs, Basic Training includes: warmup; upper body; lower body; and core work. Body BlastA group program with coordinated movement and tempo. Everyone moves together, but each person controls the level of difficulty to meet their individual needs. The program moves through a variety of exercises including: warmup; upper body; lower body; and core. This program moves along at a gret pace delivering a fantastic total body workout. it is ideal for people who are new to TRX and who want a fun high energy experience. A challenging rewarding workout program that you have to try. TRX CircuitAfter you learn the "ropes" in Basic Training and Body Blast and you're ready to kick it up, Circuit is for you. This high intensity program moves praticipants through fast-paced cycles of upper body, lower body, core and cardio exercises.
