Peter Gibbs, owner of BodyMind Balance, is a recognized mobility training expert who uses a variety of techniques to reduce pain and the likelihood of injury, while enhancing physical performance at any level. In 2012 Peter joined Celebrity Press, a leading fitness and health book publishing company, and leading health and fitness experts from around the world to release the fitness book, Bigger Better Faster Stronger: The World's Leading Fitness Experts Reveal Their Top Secrets to Help You Achieve The Ultimate in Health and Longevity. The book is an best-seller in three categories.

Peter is a certified Z-Health® Movement Performance and Exercise Therapy Specialist (R,I,S,T & 9S). His background includes training in both Stott Pilates and Peak Pilates systems and suspension and bodyweight exercise including TRX Suspension Instructor training. Peter has directed tennis, baseball, soccer, swimming and basketball camps. His background in sports performance training is enhanced by years of experience as a tennis professional.  He has an appreciation for the benefits of mind body approaches to fitness for people of all ages and fitness levels. Peter is committed to providing expert coaching to enable anyone, whether a professional athlete or desk athlete, to achieve the highest levels of physical and mental performance.

Peter is also a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, providing clinical supervision and training for professionals and maintaining a clinical consulting practice. He has practiced and taught meditation and stress management techniques for more than 20 years and has implemented Corporate Wellness programming through BodyMind Balance.




Ray Douglass is a Senior instructor at BodyMind Balance. She is a fully certified STOTT Pilates instructor having completed certifications in mat and advanced mat, reformer, cadillac and advanced cadillac, chair, and ladder barrel. She has completed TRX Suspension Exercise training and is a certified Z-Health® Movement Re-education Specialist (R). She has taught in Massachusetts and Colorado. Ray supervises our programs for colleges, universities.

Ray is well known as a creative teacher who works with a wide range of clients including beginners, teens and seniors, people with physical challenges and injuries, elite athletes, women who are pregnant or postpartum and those who have experienced cancer.




Brenna Miller began her journey with Yoga in 2006 at Central Mass Yoga Institute where she studied for her 200hr certification in Hatha Yoga. Brenna soon discovered her passion for learning new styles and techniques of body movement therapy.  She took special workshops exploring Meridian Yoga, Thai Body Work, Aerial Yoga, Acro Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, and Rasamaya Yoga. At Rasamaya she went on to study Structural Therapy which is postural work designed to help people become more comfortable in their body by working the fascia which encompasses our muscles, meridian lines and acupressure points. Within the Structural Therapy program Brenna earned her 500hr Yoga certification, Pilates Beginner through Advanced Mat certifications, Pilates Beginner Apparatus certification, Pfilates (pelvic floor Pilates) certification, Anatomy in Clay, and Thai Body Work and completed a variety of programs on Nutrition, MS and Breast Cancer. Brenna is currently studying the effects of trauma stored in the body and how using different types of body movement therapy can help release these effects including stress, anxiety, insomnia, depression, and addiction. Paul Labelle began martial arts training in Tae Kwon Do, which he practiced for more than 10 years fighting in many competitions. He committed to a new phase of learning with Mixed Martial Arts in 2007 and has since become a professional MMA fighter. Paul has had the privilege of training with and being a sparring partner to some of the top professional MMA fighters in the UFC today. Paul is a gifted creative teacher who inspires beginners and challenges professional athletes. He is dedicated to helping people improve their health and transform their lives. Paul works at Gentex managing the manufacturing department and overseeing over 30 employees. He is also a devoted father of 5 children.

Paul has faced and overcome personal challenges. Looking at Paul today, you would never know that by the time he was 27 he weighed more than 400 lbs. Even at a that weight, Paul was interested in fitness and martial arts. One day something clicked and he knew he had to do everything he could to change his life. Paul focused on diet and more efficient and effective training. Paul lost more than 200 pounds and is in the best shape of his life. If anyone knows that life can be overwhelming and challenging, he does! Paul believes he was put on this earth to help others overcome challenges that can seem insurmountable. He knows first hand that if you become a happier, healthier, balanced person not only do the people who love you benefit ... so do YOU!




Teresa Iapalucci has more than 17 years health and fitness experience as a fitness program director, manager, instructor, coach and personal trainer. She enthusiastically approaches wellness with the perspective that body and mind function as an integrated whole. She believes appropriate and enjoyable exercise opportunities await each individual.

Teresa is a registered yoga instructor (RYT 200) with the Yoga Alliance and holds certifications as a Stott Pilates instructor, ACE personal trainer, Johnny G. spinning instructor and AFFA group exercise instructor. She also holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from Simmons College and is a licensed clinical social worker.
